William D. Green, serves as a Director of GTY Technology and previously served as Co-Chairman and Co-CEO, having founded the Company in 2016. Previously he was CEO and chairman of the board of Accenture PLC, or Accenture (NYSE: ACN). Mr. Green was a director of Accenture from 2001 until 2013, and assumed the role of chairman in 2006. During Mr. Green’s tenure at Accenture, the Company completed its initial public offering and Mr. Green was involved in the planning of Accenture’s long-term business strategy. From 2004 through 2010, Mr. Green served as Accenture’s CEO.
During his tenure as CEO, Accenture grew revenue from $13.7 billion to $21.6 billion, doubled its workforce to 211,000 employees and expanded its global footprint. Prior to serving as CEO, Mr. Green was Accenture’s COO–client services with overall management responsibility for the company’s operating groups.
Mr. Green was ranked #1 chief executive officer in the Computer Sciences & IT Consulting sector by Institutional Investor in 2007. Mr. Green serves as a director of S&P Global Inc. (NYSE: SPGI) since 2011, a director of EMC Corporation, or EMC, from 2013 to 2016, EMC’s independent lead director from February 2015 to September 2016 and as a director of Inovalon Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: INOV) since August 2016. In addition, Mr. Green has served on the board of directors of Dell Technologies, Inc., or Dell, since September 2016.
